Girthy Bryce poked the fire, sending sparks spiraling into the night. "Where do we start looking for wake and his godly treasure?"

Hessam nodded, his eyes glinting in the firelight. "We will need a special stone that makes scorpions glow in the night."

Hammallama leaned forward, the flames casting shadows on his weathered face. "Hope can be rekindled. We can find the fabled moonstone and then find wake. Together, we are stronger."

Bryce pulled a small dagger from his belt, its blade reflecting the fire’s glow. "And if the north finds wake first? If we take the fight to them?"

"Then we show them the consequences of their arrogance," Hammallama replied, determination solidifying his voice. 

As the night deepened, the weight of their mission settled over them. They shared stories of past battles, laughter mingling with tension, fueling their shared purpose. Tomorrow, they would venture into the unknown, united with purpose.
