Yesterday, I had a thought:
What if we develop a system that uses credits/leverage to amplify the like value with @tipn?
Imagine a mechanism similar to Gitcoinβs matching model, where we amplify the value of likes through a matching fund. This could inject more money and value into the Farcaster ecosystem, creating a positive feedback loop:
The more we give, the more we receive, driving the ecosystem upwards.
Hereβs the idea:
Matching Likes: Establish a fund that multiplies the impact of each like (e.g., x2 or x3).
Funding Sources: The fund could be fueled by sponsors, DAO assets, or donations from Farcaster members.
While there are challenges to consider, I believe the benefits outweigh the drawbacks. Such a system could not only incentivize greater participation but also foster a more vibrant and supportive community.
Additionally, integration with Impact by @abundance would be a fantastic complement, aligning with his mission and bringing even more value to the platform. 1 reply
