The idea of Ethereum was first proposed in 2013 by developer Vitalik Buterin. After the efforts and cooperation of a small group of blockchain technology enthusiasts, Ethereum was launched in July 2015. Joe Lubin, who was the creator of ConsenSys and one of the main developers of Ethereum-based applications, was also among the key members of the project.
