The aurora is a natural phenomenon that occurs in the skies of the Earth's North and South poles. This phenomenon happens when charged solar particles collide with Earth's magnetic field and enter the upper atmosphere. These collisions produce lights that appear as bands or waves of color in the sky. In the Northern Hemisphere, the aurora is called the "Northern Lights" or Aurora Borealis, and in the Southern Hemisphere, it is known as the "Southern Lights" or Aurora Australis. These lights are often seen in shades of green, red, purple, and blue.
