Tether may sell $9B in BTC due to US regulations According to The Block, Tether might offload $9 billion worth of Bitcoin to comply with potential US stablecoin regulations. Currently, 66ā83% of its reserves meet the requirements, but a shift to treasury bonds and liquid assets may be needed.
