Looks like the concerns about L2s being able to avoid paying higher gas fees were greatly exxagerated. Millions of $ in ETH are now being burned by blobs each month. Funny what healthy competition does when there‘s actual demand to be served and incentives are aligned.

I like how MakerDAO governance works where the total MKR on the "hat" (current governance version) must be surpassed in order to make an update to the protocol. It's an implicit dynamic quorum which passively secures the whole protocol.

I don't get "Bitcoin is already decentralized money, focus on the world computer vision", when Bitcoin can hardly be used trustlessly due to lack of scale and programmability. Ethereum the smart contract platform and eth as its native asset allow for each other's success.
