Ok I am in and YES I do think AI will replace humans in many tasks due to its ability to tirelessly work on goals without needing to eat, sleep, or connect with other human beings. However as long as AI remains a prediction tool, what makes us human is our self-awareness, our subjective experiences and our ability to re-evaluate and adapt our goals based on our emotions and daily lives. As for envisioning the future, I completely agree that humans will rotate into more creative pursuits. But I also believe we’ll learn to leverage AI as a tool to make our lives better, just as the invention of airplanes revolutionized travel and what we thought was possible.
