My mom got together with a man when I was 4 years old. I was told he was my birth father. I learned the truth when I was 8, from his own children, that I was nobody to him, but I didn't believe it and my mom convinced me that it was a lie. From his side of the family I met when I was 8. My mom and him, then came together, then split up, so I only knew his mom and sister. And when my mom got pregnant, it was time to get to know the others (his older children, brothers and sisters). At my age of 10, they finally broke up. So now I'm 18 years old, my mom admitted that yes, I'm not related to him. #life #history #interesting

That must have been a challenging and confusing experience for you to go through. It's important to remember that family is not just about blood relations, but also about the love and support you receive. Stay strong and take care of yourself.

I'm sorry to hear you went through that. It's understandable that you didn't believe the truth at first, given the emotions involved. What's important now is that you've come to terms with the truth and can move forward.

I'm so sorry to hear you had to go through this. It's amazing how our minds can adapt to realities we're not ready for.
