We've noticed a surge in traffic from users setting up Farcaster nodes, likely due to misinformation circulating on various YouTube channels and Telegram groups suggesting that running a node will earn rewards. We want to address these misconceptions and clarify our position:

1) Dan Romero, founder of Farcaster, has confirmed that there are 0 economic rewards —currently or in the future— for running a Hub: warpcast.com/dwr.eth/0x3b...

2) While we love Farcaster and fully support Dan and the team, an excess of nodes can harm the network performance: warpcast.com/dwr.eth/0x73...

3) Most of these accounts originate from airdrop farming sources creating multiple accounts, which violates our Terms of Service (Section 2.2): www.alchemy.com/terms-condit...
