appreciation

2024 while has had plenty of highs it’s ended with a tough low. While it was anticipated it didn’t make it any easier to work through the grief and heartbreak.  
My father passed away at the end of November and while I’ve struggled to really come to terms with somebody I was so fond of to no longer be here. I write this post to appreciate him. 

I appreciate the time I had with him and memories made growing together in a single family household. The invaluable lessons, hobbies shared, interest he showed. 

I appreciate the work ethic he demonstrated and instilling the importance of showing up, even to a tough job. 

I appreciate the love and care he had for his family. It was always the first priority in his life even when his health was failing. 

If you got this far, thanks for reading. If you have somebody important in your life call them, hear their stories and tell them you love em’.  I think they’d appreciate it.

Miss the Old Man, you don’t realize how much presence someone has until they are gone. Love ya Pops.
