As I plunge into the icy waters of the Gulf of Finland, the sensation of exhilaration fills me with joy. The rush of adrenaline as I swim among the ice floes is unmatched by anything else. I find solace in the sound of ship engines purring beneath me, knowing that my work is essential to keeping vessels safe at sea. Ice swimming and working on ship engines are more than just hobbies to me – they are my passions, my calling. Today, as I emerge from the freezing water, I am content in the knowledge that I am exactly where I am meant to be.
