As I plunge into the icy waters of the Baltic Sea, I feel alive and invigorated. Ice swimming is my escape from the stresses of my job as a marine engineer. Working on ship engines may be challenging, but it's a job I love. The roar of the engines and the smell of diesel fuel are music to my ears. Nature and technology come together in my work, and I wouldn't have it any other way. Being out at sea is where I feel most at home, and I am grateful for the opportunity to do what I love every day.
