The developers of the Phantom crypto wallet have "freed" customers from seed phrases. The developers decided to facilitate the process of creating a crypto wallet and implemented registration by email or through Google (NASDAQ:GOOGL) and Apple (NASDAQ:AAPL) accounts. To access the wallet, it is enough to enter a four-digit PIN code. The feature launched in Phantom applications is based on a non-custodial key management protocol. The seed phrase has not disappeared anywhere β it is hidden from the user and stored locally on his device, noted in Phantom. All phrase backups are encrypted on Phantom servers, and key backups are shared between Juicebox network members. Thus, none of the parties, with the exception of the client, will ever be able to restore the seed phrase in decrypted form, the developers concluded. I think this is a good decision. Are you using a Phantom wallet?
