Existing physical networks like telecom, energy, and transportation are often natural monopolies. Crypto networks are the native antidote to internet monopolies, and  I believe represent a path towards a more efficient and open world.

Personally I think DePIN trend is gone, or maybe I’m just tripping 🤔

Yet DePIN is the worst term on a marketing standpoint.

Great post! I’m imagining the obstacles DePIN is facing would be somewhat similar to what Uber/Airbnb was. Do you think there’s anything that we could learn from there?

I am really glad to have worked with a DePIN project as my first official job in crypto. I didn’t know a lot but as I dug deeper into the projects in depin, I’ve found how cost effective and control free things become when we switch to DePIN.
