Did you get a bassinet seat? Then you might be in luck and the child sleeps for a few hours…

My old startup was featured in an ad in This Week in Startups, and what a propitious timestamp! https://youtu.be/bHO8EDallMg?si=JE4cyok99KU9yFLK&t=1337

Advice needed: We got a term sheet from Antler for our pre-seed startup, does anyone have experience with them?

Having to add “science” to your discipline is like have to name your country “Democratic”

Do you think there is space for more layer 1s? Does it matter if they are faster, smarter etc?

A priori it would seem that entrenched interests would stop anything that threatens them, but crypto itself seems to have grown enough to become too big to fail. Now it’s too late to stop. They are trying to tame it, but they can only really control the on and off-ramps, which hasn’t been quite enough to stop it.

The most interesting use case for me is replacing banks, actualized by things like the Nigel Farage blockade, or the Canadian truckers. But how do we do that, and is it even possible? Will the powers that be ever allow that to happen?

Anyone tried Radix? I’m working for them now, I like the concept of having NFTs and fungibles as built in entities in the language, seems like it will make a lot of things significantly simpler and safer. I was able to quickly build dapps with pretty interesting functionality. https://www.rdx.works

Meiji inner garden is a hidden gem. Of course the food alley Omoide Yokocho in Shinjuku. And also sign up for a visit to the Imperial Palace, and the palaces in Kyoto if you’re going there. You have to do it in advance, but it’s free. If you need Sento tips let me know, or a swedish restaurant…

There is another product that does this: https://www.beeper.com (also in beta). I have it and it does work. But the way the different "bridges" work is usually that their server intercepts the messages by pretending to be the respective web client, decrypting messages before re-encrypting. It's based on matrix.org.

Bellota or serrano ham, bresaola, matured hard cheese, buffalo mozzarella, almonds (?). I basically live on Danish rye bread which is about 8% protein, so that's also doing its part.

We prefer the apartment to be cold so in the winter I usually wear coarse knit wool socks at home, but this year I've levelled up to these bad boys, camel and mohair! https://i.imgur.com/q2Qi2NT.jpg

Does anyone have an opinion on Radix? Apparently it's not a blockchain, so what exactly does it do?

My absolute favourite app is the HP48GX emulator that lets me pretend that I'm still using my old graphing calculator - RPN FTW! https://i.imgur.com/Hy5bTaV.jpg

Biked to the gym in the rain, got changed, except I didn't bring any shorts Biked home, did some work, biked to another, less busy gym where the sauna would be less crowded Sauna was off but I got changed and noticed I had left my favourite shoes at the first gym Went back there, found shoes, third time's the charm

It's just random for me, like finding love. They can be sitting there right in front of you for years, and for some reason you start reading one day and get hooked. The real challenge is that there are so many books but you can only ready one at a a time. At most.

Most if not all of Apple's own apps do it, and I'm pretty sure I heard someone in a WWDC session say that it's what they strongly recommend

I bought it half a decade ago, felt very antiquated already then, doesn't seem to have changed. But it's not like it doesn't do the job, it just feels very old.

So true, Anki is a great concept but the user experience is poor. They don't have to go full duolingo with cartoons and achievements, but make it look and behave like a mainstream app and it will rule
