Continuing what @dwr.eth said, with gen-AI making analyst type positions all but obsolete, this will change the entire hierarchy. As soul crushing as those 80-hour weeks of analyst grunt work was, that's how we become "senior" - how will future generations of consultants and investment bankers internalise the basics?
