Theory nerds and relative pitch people:

Is the interval of the office theme song (first two melodica notes) and the interval of the ET theme song (main strings section) the same interval?

I was whistling the office theme in the car and it collapsed into the ET theme, which I thought was funny. 

So I asked the quoted question from memory standing in the pizzeria waiting for my food. 

But having listened to both now, I realized I was remembering the ET theme wrong and it was the *second* iteration of the main riff that I was thinking of, which I’m pretty sure is an octave like the office.

Are there any LLMs that are good at music yet? I would love to keep my embarrassing questions to myself but in my experience LLMs are still bad at this kind of thing.
