What’s a business idea or side hustle you think could work but you’ll probably never pursue? What’s stopping you, and what would it take to make it happen?

Here’s mine: a commercial cleaning business. The idea is simple—I’d find the clients and build the relationships, then outsource the actual cleaning to a small, reliable crew. 

A friend of mine from high school actually did this, and now he’s running a very successful small business. We talked through this idea in high school but he actually went and did it. It’s pretty wild to see how well it’s working for him. I think it goes to show that you can make just about anything work, if you put your mind to it. 

What’s your “almost” idea—the one you know could be good but, for whatever reason, isn’t in your plans? Why haven’t you pursued it?

a spa. it all started when i stumbled upon an ASMR video of a random girl getting a face massage in japan. i was so relaxed i fell asleep instantly. after that, i booked massages around my city, but every place disappointed me—loud music, staff interruptions, street noises and people in other rooms talking or even yelling

then, on vacation in morocco with my bf, we had a life-changing massage experience at our hotel spa: low lighting, staff whispering, water fountains, incense and pure uninterrupted peace. no noise, no small talk, no loud music or noisy customers— just total relaxation. they even served me a delicious cup of tea while i waited for my bf to finish his massage

i'd love to open a salon with that vibe. it'd be a hit because everyone is stressed out and craves silence these days, thought it sounds VERY expensive as a first venture lol
