Four Severe Weather Warnings. Flood. Wind.  Tornado. Other Flood(opposite side of the county.)

The one Flood Alert is asking everyone who lives near Lookout Creek to be anywhere else within the hour. 

I’m about 5mi west of Lookout Creek. It runs about 40 miles starting as a branch off of the Tennessee River, then down into GA along the foot of Lookout mountain. 

It’s flooded bad before. Luckily, the 5mi east of me is rolling foothills, so we’re not in danger from either flood. Maybe some mud slides. The specific geography here also means it’s extremely unlikely any home in th his same valley will be damaged. 20mi south, they could get wrecked. It’s hit hard there several times since about 2010. 

Foothills are great because there’s not enough distance between each mountain for a tornado to really tear things up. Property and human damage has only ever been from instant touchdown, lift up. Dissipating funnels.
