the steps across the green
waters.
nor do you choose dawns in that
rift of the sky.

perhaps we once belonged together in the blue.

and since then maybe
entirely new worlds have been invented for us.
elusive times.
where we will wander the unknown.
weightless,
unknowing of one another.
