Had a wander over to Manchester Pride today, was still alive and kicking on day 3! ♥️🏳️🌈 Such an amazing, inclusive, alternative, kind city. Spent a good hour in Affleck’s Palace too. That place just feels like home no matter how long it is in between visits. Them my peeps :)

I'm sure it's lots of fun and hope you had a great time there. I've never been to pride in the UK, but I've had unforgettable moments at pride parades in the Netherlands and Germany. I believe that in Manchester too, people were able to express themselves freely and raise their voices in their truest form. We've fought enough and now we want to live in a world where we don't have to fight anymore to love our partners and be free to be who we are. Love is love, love is for all! 🌈

Manchester Pride is always a great weekend. We have an area called the Gay Village that’s filled with LGBTQ bars all year round and been there for decades. When I first started going out it was the safest place to go drinking no matter who you were. Lots of fond memories.

That sounds absolutely wonderful! 🤩 Manchester Pride must be an incredible experience, especially with such a vibrant and historic Gay Village. It's so heartwarming to hear that it has always been a safe and welcoming place for everyone 🌈 Hope that in the future, I will have the chance to be in pride there one day ^^ Experiencing such a beautiful atmosphere would definitely be among my unforgettable memories 🫶🫶🫶
