how could the question be modified to make it more ethical? what if the “clone” was more like a super advanced robot?

Great question and I’m not quite sure. I really enjoyed the movie Source Code, and the premise that you could interact with the digital representation of someone. In our era of knowledge work, that’d accomplish much of what you’re proposing. Would that copy want its own vacations? Would it get tired and burnt out
