I agree. The problem is even the founding fathers have become politicized at this point. I wish we could just elect Andrew Yang and move on as a country.

The founding fathers were deeply split on many political issues, especially federalism and part of that was federal money. They fought bitterly for their entire lives. Because they were inherently political people. They led a revolution

Exactly, but it seems now that one political party has a monopoly on all of them. I’ve never heard a Democrat say “That’s not what the founding fathers intended” for example. There were incredibly smart philosophers among them and I wish we had the nuance that they did in today’s political discourse.
