To answer your question though, I think building in crypto provides easy access to liquidity, and it’s speculative nature and hyper engaged user base makes speed running mechanism design & playing economic games much more fun, effective & profitable than they would be somewhere else like on Facebook

That being said, I don’t think ETH (or any other chain) are sufficiently decentralized to resist a total crackdown by the US government and I’m not sure they ever will be, although I hope that day comes.

I wouldn’t say I support any chain in particular, although most of my time searching, building & speculating has been spent on ETH. My main point is that Solana’s arguments for decentralization are not as robust as arguments that could be made for UX improvements
