Base last 90 days DA = 27.2% of costs = $22.4K OP last 90 days DA = 7.4% of costs = $2.3k Zora we dont have the data for this yet Right now Ethereum DA is so cheap if it lost all its customers for DA it would not loose out on much at all. Layer 2s still use calldata even if they use alt DA and this is the main source of revenue from L2s currently. More layer 2s in particular based rollups like Takio means even more calldata. The Ethereum DA market is going to be improved over time too. In terms of ETH the asset we cant give financial advice

📉 Another day of Loss for @Starknet Yesterday, but Profitability is in Sight 📧 With state diffs posted to Ethereum passing the peak of the transaction spike, we can expect costs to go down. This means that their gamble paid off and they are likely to remain profitable for the week. 🔍 When it comes to finality, @l2beat reports an average inclusion time of 43 hours – roughly 4x longer than the next highest (Linea). 💸 Marketing Impact on Financials? Yesterday’s onchain revenue was higher than earlier in the week, but this appears driven by increased fees rather than transaction volume, which has normalized. Longer term we shall be watching!

Layer 2s still use Ethereum L1 call data for posting proofs and as more layer 2s come online particularly with based rollups this will increase. Even with higher DA fees than usual calldata is still pulling in significantly more. As DA is so cheap on Ethereum blobs the current landscape wouldn't be so different if they all moved to alt DA (this is unlikely to happen)
