Trending has really low usage but a small group of users still check it.

Our bias is to sunset it at some point (simplify!), but wanted to get input.

Trending is less relevant today because of the algo feed, boosts and soon the new version of channels.

i think from learning about building my own client, its one of those things that makes sense on paper, but in actuality does add way more complexity than is worth the roi. 
also from a niche client perspective it did offer a somewhat reframe back into the fc sphere for a second - it offered me one more lego to build with i guess, but wont be sad if it goes

i did vote somewhat, but agree with some comments that its better to simplify, but i think it was good as a new user who doesnt have a social graph
