Sure, that’s valid - great points, honestly. I guess I just feel that if you, as an individual, wish to take that stance, then that’s one thing. To specifically forbid insurance to be billed, however, has broad reaching implications. I do wish assisted suicide were more broadly available/socially acceptable, tho.

That is one side of it, but there also is another side of it: namely is it truly “worth” the expense when you are alive but not truly living. When we incur that cost, who is it actually for? Is it really healthcare to do this, when we know the person will never be healthy again? And so on
