So a month or two ago I acquired SanFranciscoGolf.com (and LosAngelesGolf) and have made a ton of progress on it so far in building.

Sharing here for early feedback/ideas!

I realized that the search experience for golf in cities is really poor, so I hope to build the "Eater" of golf - ultimate city golf resource. ⛳

It's been so fun to stay up late and coding for fun and passion, I haven't had a personal coding project that i've loved doing for years.

It's also amazing how fast I can spin websites up from scratch then years ago, powered by contentful, mapbox, shadcn(amazing!), tailwind, radix, nextjs.

Some thngs on my list - I need to build out the "Instructor" infrastructure and source all the golf coaches in the area, improve my golf course dataset, golf stores, events, day trip itineraries, travel itineraries, etc...

Then expand to LA, then start launching in more cities after that.

A friend of mine who is an incredible designer has been helping out on nights and weekends as well, which has made this process so much easier. Going to be the best looking site out there in the next month or 2 when i'm feature-complete.

I have a ton of ideas I want to do - but now that i've built a lot of the infrastructure and have 100+ courses, I need to start getting into some content creation of guides... i'll likely need to find some people who want to contribute with ideas and help!
