I used to play when I was younger, not sure if that counts - I had my own golf set. I have never played too many sports so between skiing, swimming, and cycling, golf is like 25% of all the sports I have ever played

my grandparents were into golf, when I say into it’s the only TV I remember them watching. I was very young and only saw them during the holidays but I remember the waiting to watch Disney Channel (Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato). A little older my mom set up some classes at the near by golf club and bought me a golf set. The intention I’m sure was for me to make friends. I didn’t unless a driver counts but, for a while after I would go to the range and course and try my swing alone into the distance and make sure to avail myself of the snacks in the restaurant. After that time, the club set up an indoor skiing treadmill and I took to it, learning how to ski rather well, and pretty much switched to skiing. I haven’t golfed since although it’s defiantly a sport in my memory and connected to my past, if I ever needed to draw a family tree above my grandparents would probably sit a neatly organized golf set.
