been going back and forth on this, my 2 cents is if you're already good at css, then use tailwind for layout stuff and css for styling

eh the mix seems messy. I’ve done it a couple times but generally what benefit do you get from styling with raw css?

cascade is good for web pages, bad for web apps with lots of components imo.

yeah collocation is key. css modules helps if you need it to scale

is css modules what you use most of the time on new projects? new file for each component type thing?

used to be a tailwind hater but now i use a mix of tailwind and postcss. working with other people who love it kinda forced my hand into adopting it and now i’ll start any project with it even if tailwind is used just for flexbox layout and paddings and gaps
