alpha is to keep posted and grab public time when it opens up, usually a day beforehand. They are incredibly inconsistent and with frequent shutdowns they simultaneously are hard to book and often vacant. Got lucky and did public sesh while we were in Palm Springs for Coachella, was well worth ($200/pp for 55 min)
