oh no. I tried to battle the gym leader and it gave me an error but still used my energy without the battle happening 😭

It won’t use energy unless the battle occurred 

Sounds like a bug with rendering the battle frame

Same thing happened to me though. Either I lost 3 times or I burnt 120 energy.
