FED UPDATE Are you more concerned about inflation or unemployment right now? FED: Right now, we view both issues as being balanced. For the past 14 months, our focus has been on reducing inflation, and that has involved cooling the economy. And today, we are shifting policy to support the economy as it expands. At this point, I don’t see any data that suggests that the risks of a recession are increasing.
