Why do I love vinyl more in the streaming era?💿 In the late 1980s, cassettes and CDs outsold vinyl. For a while, it seemed like vinyl was coming to an end. But in the past year, vinyl sales in the United States have increased by about 50%, and GEN Z is a huge driving force. Vinyl records provide a unique sensory experience. Playing a record is a healing process in itself - pulling out a vinyl record, placing it on the turntable, carefully placing the needle between the grooves, and watching it spin, the music becomes more three-dimensional and more tangible. Vinyl records are not only a collectible, but also a channel to find a connection with the classics of the past. For many people, rediscovering music in the form of vinyl records is a way to get away from the ubiquitous technology and focus on the physical world. It is an experience that transfers the mind to a time and place far away from the present, as if lost in a movie.
