TLDR on Fan Tokens: >only farcasters can buy them (moxie pass) >only MOXIE can be used >at launch, everyone gets in at the same price (batch auction) >after launch, buy 'em from the curve (like Scoop) and only the curve >no secondary plus gentle price curve means no parabola price bullshit (less expensive for longer, harder to manipulate) all very orderly and fair โจ

How will you use this differently from AlfaFrens?

the same way I do now; alfafrens is my token gated alpha channel. i don't expect to use moxie to make anything similar. i like the AF mechanism and UX.

I think people think that alfafrens and Moxie offer the same service, but they do not. Af is a token gated chat. Moxie is a protocol that let's you earn alongside the creator based on their engagement. 2 different beasts, same warpcast account.

Thanks for sharing. Havenโt spent much time researching but was curious how all these apps/tools work together etc. I appreciate the clarity

Alfafrens works like fren tech but with superfluid streaming tech, and a better bonding curve. Moxie works like scoop cards but with much more intricate engagement tracking using airstack scoring. Degen is a token that could/should hold hands with all of these protocols and support them. In an ideal world, the creators have allowances that reward their alfafrens or fans. At least this is how I view it all.
