The second-level network community (L2) Starknet based on the Ethereum blockchain has approved the introduction of stacking of the native STRK token. Only 0.08% of eligible coin holders participated in the voting. Of these, 98.94% approved the initiative. The new mechanism will allow any user who owns more than 20,000 STRKs to block coins in stacking from the fourth quarter of this year.
