The government of El Salvador indicated that the investment in the construction of Bitcoin City in the amount of $1.6 billion was provided by the Turkish company Yilport. This happened after President Nayib Bukele visited Turkey 2 years ago. Previously, the funds will be spent on the modernization of the seaport located in Acahutla and on the construction of new terminals in La Union, where it is planned to build Bitcoin City.
