Notice the "login" part. I guess that is a good expansion of the value proposition for @ledgerofficial Much more people reading NYT are worried about their identity online right now than their /crypto I guess passkeys / password app ios (https://support.apple.com/en-us/120758) are going in that direction too @iancr how will ledger devices play nicely with my new password manager on iOS. Are they complementary?

Passkeys are disruptive because they turn your phone into a second-factor element, but using them with Ledger worsens the user experience. Additionally, devices like Yubikey are much cheaper and offer the same functionality. The only advantage Ledger has over Yubikey is that, besides passkeys, it also manages private keys, but the industry is moving away from this model. I don't believe that Passkeys will expand Ledger's potential market.
