People have been beaten down by the chaos caused by Trump/MAGA, and utterly exhausted from the divide and conquer nonsense culture wars, to the point that they've tuned out so hard they aren't realizing progress that has been made on multiple fronts (e.g., energy independence, chips mfg, and infrastructure).

As someone who's new here, what's best channel to post general subject matter? Base or Farcaster? Also can anyone share good tutorial on Frames, as I assume that's how you post things like Polls or anything beyond images and video?

The Coinbase integration will have added benefit of getting folks both on relatively user friendly Coinbase app since it makes setting up account here incredibly simple. Definitely will carve out time to engage on here though.

The only real negative I see so far, and I think it's a temporary one, is lack of diversity in terms of content and users. I have many interests and so far not enough here to satisfy there. The positive is I think this could casually onboard a lot of people to Web3 since X really sucks now and folks want alternative.

So to recap: Major breakthrough in nuclear fusion. Leading the world in oil production. Massive amount of private investment in renewable energy infrastructure, which is now number 2 source of energy in US. Yet no one talks about us being on path to Energy Independence? Crazy.

I think the potential for this is bigger than just being the social app for crypto/Web3 natives. Could be great mass onboarding tool for sure, but based on my initial impression it's like a nerdy cross between OG Twitter and reddit. Need more diversity of content/users still but good start.

With new apps I always Follow Back. Way easier to build a feed that way and if someone posts lame content then I'll just unfollow later hah. Either way, happy to be here. May it be better than the Hellhole Twitter turned into.
