Very Internet Person

i have a lot of feelings but i'm on no sleep and since i'm casting in this channel i'll keep it on topic:

i've been posting more doomer content lately even tho i'd rather focus on good things. but now i expect the enshittification of the web to accelerate. the democrats aren't really better for the web but they are less distracting. when the firehose of trump's shitshow turns on again in january, many will be too distracted daily like last time to do productive things to prevent further enshittifying. it's no coincidence the death date of the internet is often cited as 2016/2017. now he has elon as a sidekick too, so it will be doubly as annoying ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ 

not sure what that means for this channel. "A channel for Very Internet Persons to discuss net culture, intermedia, and having fun online." seems frivolous now as i'm not sure online will be very fun for a while and i'll have to spend more time offline working to insulate my loved ones from the "hardship" that elon is promising. i hope i'm wrong tho
