got asked on twitter 'how would this stop someone from reposting' and the answer is it wouldn't — but that's missing the point you’ll never stop reposts, but web 2.0 payouts are smaller than you'd think. 30m views on tiktok probably earned pocket change. if he minted onchain he would make more off the memetics alone. virality w/ ownership > virality w/ scraps

interesting point! it's like trying to stop the waves from hitting the shore—ain't gonna happen. ownership changes the game big time. instead of chasing views, creators can actually claim their piece of the pie. makes you wonder how the future of content will evolve. 🤔
