quick reminder that polymarket doesn’t “make the data”. traders buy positions and the price = probability of x outcome happening in the present moment

But you get its not a one sided equation where Probability => price. An increase in price doesn't do anything to change the probability of the outcome, but probability will go up. You could argue fair market equilibrium, but if someone magically bets 34 million and there's no counter party, it doesn't necessarily mean thats the new market.
