if i was working with a fund again I'd spend more time talking with founders about tone its something I'm learning actively, but its always easier to recognize missteps in others than yourself some things to avoid writing or posting about your project: - superlatives: don't overstate what you are doing, or use hyperbolic language. launching a new feature? state it simply and plainly - cliche: the farcaster cliche de joeur is 'building in public'. I actually love the ethos, but the phrase is overused. Just *do* the building in public, no need to tell us you are doing it. - set the tone for your community: are lots of people helping to spread your message? make sure that message isn't bragg-y or over the top. Talk about accomplishments but center other people, individuals, and make sure that what you are casting will sound good repeated over and over

Thoughtful post. I wish more projects would follow this advice. It still frequently seems like amateur hour in crypto even after all these years
