The only way to pin something on Warpcast is by owning a channel. 

If you can't pin a cast to your profile, it's because, according to @dwr.eth's argument, users wouldn't appreciate seeing pinned tweets on people's profiles (Seems like a joke but it's not)

But ..why doesn't this argument apply to channels?

I thought that after Beccaria (1764) we understood that punishment only denotes the punisher's personality but has no certain positive effect on the punished.

Anyway, once you start preventing your users from pinning their Casts by using false pretenses solely to make money, then I think it's not surprising to get shadowbanned. 
I mean, it's basically the same kind of underhanded behavior as a thug.

sad to see this verticistic behaviour in a supposedely "decentralized space" 
maybe we should also add the concept of horizontality to decentralization, otherwise the panorama would look more feudalistic than "open"
