what site is this? i think you and i are aligned re: socialfi's weird incentives, but i had a long discussion with @nonlinear.eth and @greg one night while riding bikes through central park (lol i miss that) about projects using my PFP without my approval or endorsement that expanded my POV. what's your take?

FarFantasy I think projects can use profiles but it doesn't serve them well because either a) those users will be annoyed and ask them to take it down (and they absolutely should if asked) and/or b) those users will bash them in public like I'm doing here which ultimately backfires and makes them look dumb Better to do some research, reach out to folks individually, find users who are aligned, and get them onboard as first-party partners so that they can actually help boost the launch or concept rather than being taken by surprise with unknown reactions, takes more work but worth it imo Also if a project does use a user's profile for any kind of financial gain, they should absolutely build compensating that user into their business model whether the user wants to take the money or not (most will, free money)

Farfantasy giving 2.5% fees to the heroes Example : @dwr earned : 123,471 degen @ted earned : 26,760 degen you earned 3,485 degen Everyone can claim the fees by connecting their custodial wallet address. Everything transperant - i see nothing wrong in it!
