i looked into bitVM recently excitedly as it was the first new bitcoin l2 thing i’d heard of recently- unfortunately from a quick read it doesn’t seem viable:

- too slow and cumbersome
- inherent centralization (no path to having a permissionless challenger)

at best doomed to liquid network style existence

bummer! was hoping bitVM would be a game-changer, but sounds like it's not quite there yet. maybe next time! 🤞 keep the optimism alive though!
