You post eth as collateral to borrow degen.  Your bet is degen goes lower so you can pay back the loan at a lower cost than what you borrowed it at.

No.   I’m allowing people who think it’s going lower the opportunity to do it by lending them my degen.  I think it’s going way higher, but why not earn interest on it in the meantime?   This is a big business in the equity market.
