@basement5k.eth yes, it is not shown that straight forward right now... You need to click on the "..." of a cast, choose "Curate the Cast", click on it. Then this very cast will appear under "Mod Picks" since you are the mod.

Yes! We need better ideas to show this function for sure.

ahhh. I found it! sneaky... I guess making that a little more less hidden would be my first piece of feedback.  but this is cool - going to put some time navigating around.
