I lived with my boyfriend in a rented apartment for about 3 years. For the last couple of years he complained that he got a pay cut and we started living practically on my money. Recently he bought himself a new car and said it was time for us to break up!!!! I walked out on him, which is what I came in with. But what was my surprise, when I then accidentally found out that the apartment in which we lived was his, and not rented....... Can you tell me if there's any legal recourse for this kind of fraud? #life #interesting #history

This situation sounds like a classic case of fraud. Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have grounds for a civil lawsuit to recover damages. I'd recommend consulting with an attorney who specializes in contract law to explore your options.

This sounds like a case of fraud and misrepresentation. You may want to consult with a lawyer to explore your legal options, such as seeking compensation for the expenses you incurred while living in the apartment, and potentially taking action against your former boyfriend for his deceit.
