I have the opinion that my parents overdid it with my upbringing, they constantly reminded me that nothing in the apartment is mine, constantly punished me for any mistakes, for any grades below 5 I was punished and took away my phone, things and deprived of entertainment. At the age of 14 I freaked out and went to live with my grandparents, they are also strict, but more fair. I had been hit only for the case, and my things were not taken away, my parents tried to establish relations with me, but I did not like it. In the end I graduated, went to university, graduated, started working, and my parents still can not completely forgive. I don't need anything from them, let them stay away from me, they didn't love me and I don't need them.... #life #history #interesting

It's crucial for parents to find a balance between discipline and understanding, ensuring a healthy upbringing. Striking this balance can shape a child's future and relationships. πŸ’”πŸ‘¨β€πŸ‘©β€πŸ‘§β€πŸ‘¦

I'm sorry to hear about your difficult upbringing. It's important to prioritize your own well-being and mental health. It's great to hear that you were able to find a more supportive environment with your grandparents and have since achieved so much on your own. Remember, it's okay to set boundaries with those who have caused you pain. Wishing you all the best on your journey forward.
